Tunnel #1 may be visible in this topo map, however I cannot see the right-of-way in the aerial photo.
Remains of the C&P Tunnel #1 looking west from the former east portal. This photo was taken just shortly after the tunnel was filled. Second photo is from atop Tunnel #1 and is also looking west on the C&P. Notice the cut leading away from the former west portal and construction of I68 has begun. The trees have been cleared and soon the hillside along with the GC&C RR and C&P RR routes up the mountain. (1968, Don Biggs photos)
