WM GP40's have the Maple Sugar special stopped at Meyersdale on an unknown date. (unknown photographer)

Two Validation photos from August 8, 1917 showing the front and rear of WM's Meyersdale Station. (Thanks to Mike Yetter and Warren Hart for photos)

It's 1977 and the Meyersdale station seems abandoned. I myself was only a few months old if that, the WM track is still down between Sand Patch and Blue Lick Mine. Later the track would be pulled up in the early 1990's and the station would undergo restoration. Also notice the brick look-a-like shingle material was used to cover the wood/stucco on the stations eves on the roof. Same material used throughout the railroad in later days. Some other buildings were at Bowest Jct., MY Tower, and Jerome. (1977, Don Biggs photo)

The Meyersdale Station on an unknown date and by an unknown photographer.

The Western Maryland Meyersdale Station, photographed on long ago and again on August 29, 1996. At the time of the 1996 photo, the station was still under restoration. A new slate roof was recently installed and work was currently being done on the interior.

Looking west and east from the platform of the WM Meyersdale Station. When these photos were taken a trail was planned but now work had begun. (Aug.29, 1996)

Old photo of the signal maintenance shed. I do not know where in Meyersdale this shed was located. Perhaps east or maybe west of the ststion. (Thanks to Jim Coshun for photo)

Tracks down at the station, the station roof in very poor condition and bricks missing from the chimney. (Eric Ziegler photo)

Looking east from the road crossing up the WM tracks at Meyersdale. This photo is from an unknown photographer and perhaps during CSX operation of the WM here. I saw this photo online long ago when this website was strictly the WM West Subdivision, neat photo and wish I would have got to have seen like this in person.

Looking east from the Meyersdale Station. Just in front of the truck was the west end of the passing siding here at Meyersdale. A pair of signals was once located here. Second photo is looking west at the station. (November 2004)
