The former underpass of Rockdale Road at the site of Rockwood Station. This uderpass would later be reomved after the rails were pulled up when a mine east of here closed. (Ray Wongus Collection of the WMRHS)

Ray Wongus photo atop the overpass of Rockdale Rd. at the former site of the Rockwood Station. Rails were still down when this photo was taken but were out of service. Notice the power/telephone lines now are low over the tracks since trains no longer ran here. I imagine the wires had to be raised when the rails were pulled by the rail train unless trucks did the job?(Ray Wongus Collection of the WMRHS) The underpass for Rockdale Rd. has been taken out here at Rockwood.
