The summit of the westbound climb from Thurmont is at Blue Ridge Summit. A freight house was here along with the station which still stands and is occupied today. View Larger Map

CSX train D795 is on the Maryland Midland at Blue Ridge Summit parked on Monterey Lane. CSX is dropping cars in the east end of the siding for the MMID to pick up later.
