CSX D795 rounds the curve at Cavetown approaching Smithsburg in June 1998. In the second photo CSX D799 is at the former West End of Smithsburg. The siding is now gone with only the switch at the east end still intact.

B702 at Cavetown has just entered into what once was the "West End of Smithsburg", a former passing siding. The train is heading from Hagerstown to Highfield and will return to Hagerstown after a drop off and pickup at Highfield. February 9, 2019 at 0947.
