NS empty hopper trains have just started running this route in the last 2 weeks. North bounds used to be loaded coal trains up from Roanoke, VA but things have changed. Here NS 741 comes around the bend at Pigeon Hill and up towards Berryville at 1001 am on February 2, 2019.

NS 211 south by the signals and then NS 154 north up Pigeon Hill, May 1998.

A northbound train rounds the curve at Piegon Hill.
